Pablo Molina

Pablo Molina received his Ph. D. in Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) in 2009 with a study on 2D non-linear photonic laser crystals. From 2009 to 2011 he joined the Optical and Electronic Materials Unit of the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS, Japan) working on the optical properties of ultra-transparent fluorides and garnets single crystals for magneto-optical applications. Since the end of 2012, he is associated professor in the material physics department at the UAM, with a main research interest focused on the optical characterization of active plasmonics and metal/laser-ions interaction in non-linear materials.
